resizeable windows
« on: February 03, 2008, 04:20:17 PM »
for those of us with smaller screens. myself i'm stuck with a maximum of 1280x800, which cuts off the bottom of a few of the windows. it may or may not be a problem, i'll have to get it running and play around to see.

but it might be something to look into for future updates. either a way to change the size of the windows, reducing the size of the windows themselves, or adding a scroll bar to allow users to view parts of the screen that are out of sight.

At one point there were resizing controls, arrows to shift contents up and down on the window. Not sure if they are still there or not.

i hooked up my laptop to my old monitor, which can handle the size. makes running things awat from my room harder, but now i can see everything. :)

really just a stopgap though.

I have removed them as they didn't really work. Once you used them on a small monitor, for some reason the portion of the window you couldn't see because of the resolution was still cut-off even when I moved the window up.
