I hope Lieutenant Commander Lund knows what a storied ship he's taken command of! :P

On a more serious note, I wonder if the CIWS is actually worth its weight - it seems to me that the fleet would be better served by a more general-purpose gauss installation that could be used for fleet defense, instead of being limited to defending just the ship it's mounted on.

I imagine the Mk II and Mk IV upgrades were more then the cost of a whole new ship - given that the first adds another engine and strips out the armament completely for a new weapons array, and the second almost doubles the design's weight.

Ah yes, both in money and time, but having a "fully" trained crew after the refit is worth a lot.  ::)

Only 2 "Space battles" and several refits...

The curse of the Empire... ::)

I have "only" had one real war, with an ground invasion that were successfully after 5 weeks of groundcombat... I am way ahead of most possible enemies... So we shall see whats happens later...

Sounds like it's time to turn Invaders on! Plus pump NPR difficult to 200% and spawn chance to 100%
