I've discovered a system in which the Invaders are happily hanging around with an NPR, not attacking their colonies or their ships.   Is this a standard thing that they are friendly to some NPRs? A weird bug?

I had a system in which Invaders were happily co-existing with Precursors.  I tried to use a Precursor scout as missile-bait to deplete the Invader's magazines and was rudely surprised to find out that they didn't mind each other at all.
