To my considerable surprise there is a limit on post length. Unfortunately while writing a post the preview doesn't show it - it will show everything you typed even the content that will be cut off. It would be nice if the preview did show or warn that part of the post is going to be cut off. Of course as the limit is quite large something like this is very rare to happen so I'm not even sure how many people were affected by it.
