So, uh, I know life finds a way and all, but uh...

Yeah, can I basically use a Genetic Modification Center to make super-people that can live just about anywhere?

Or is it a give and take type situation, where one tolerance reduces the other kind of tolerance?

If I make a species of human that has +15 degrees and -15 degrees tolerance [in Celsius] are they just normal humans then?

Or do they gain an overall 30 degree range of temperature variation?

Basically how do Gene Mods work and can I use them to make an Ubermensch?

Why not use SM mode to make a few and find out?  Then you can tell us whether it moves the ideal temp midpoint, increases the range equally, or only moves the upper or lower limit.

Welp. Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer.  :-\

I should've tried designing a New Species FIRST before asking. I would have known...

Thanks for that anyway.
