(Okay, so one of these question is about installation, but this is the place to ask all kinds of newbie questions, right?)
Anyways, I installed the game, version 4. 91 (after some confusion, I might add). Now, I know there is a 5. 53 version out, but how do I get it? Do I download the patch and follow the constructions? Do I download 5. 50 to be able to get 5. 53 to work?
And my second question is, can I resize the screens? I've been following the quickstart guide, and on the part where you make a guy your governor or somesuch, I can't find the button to make him governor, if there is one. The quickstart guide says really, nothing about how to make said person your governor, just to find someone with a high mining bonus. However, some of the window is cut off. I can only see about 1/4 of the personality traits box (though I have no idea how big the box is in the first place), and I figure the button to assign people to a certain position is part of the window that is cut off. So, I am stuck. I can't assign and I don't know how to assign anyone, and the quickstart guide is useless. Help?
