No Sorium in gas giants

None of the gas giants in Sol have any Sorium, according to my geosurvey vessel.
On all planets and moons together, there's less than 100k. Still hoping for some finds on asteroids and comets..
If I find none, will it be a logistical nightmare, having to haul fuel from outside of my homesystem?

Yes, thats basically what you have to expect.
The resources in your homesystem never last long.
Sounds to me you've just been unlucky.
