Just some thoughts on the ship designs
-- The combination of Gauss turrets and CIWS is odd, the Gauss turrets can protect other ships in the squadron the CIWS cannot,
-- That armour is massively thick particulary for small ships
-- The combination of 2-3 years crew endurance and only 30-40 days fuel is also odd, they are going to spend most of the time in orbit around a colony not using up crew endurance
