Moving House
« on: August 26, 2009, 03:51:15 AM »
I haven't been on the board for a few days because we are packing up to move house. I will probably go offline today and not be back online until September 4th (assuming our local telecoms company doesn't screw something up) :)

Moving again or did it just take this long to close?

We are moving again (or have moved now). We moved 12 months ago when we sold our house and decided to rent for a while. Unfortunately, our Landlord has now abandoned his move to France and wants his house back so we had to move again.

I hope you have better luck with this landlord.

Is the housing market as tanked over there as it is here?  It's a great time to buy a house over here.  Though you need a really high FICO score to get a loan.

OTOH, I could set you up with a good sized house in Cleveland, Ohio for under $3000 (houses in Detroit, Michigan can be had for even cheaper).  I figure a move there would be relatively easy for you since you wouldn't have to worry about combusting in real sunshine like you might in California.
