global geological info question
« on: September 28, 2012, 11:08:31 AM »
Hi,

Probably another noob question where i missed something obvious :

Is there anyway to know if a specific celestial body has been surveyed.  The 'Geological survey report' only indicates those bodies where you've actually found some minerals, and the 'System Generation and Display' shows all bodies, but not if they have been surveyed.  I'd like to know if a given body has already been surveyed (not if minerals have been found on it)

TIA

F2, bottom left of the first tab tells you if it's been surveyed, being surveyed or not surveyed at all.

Or F12, check the Show Survey and Excluded Surveyed. This will show at a glance what in the system needs to be done yet.

Thank you both for the quick answers,

Shoer, that's the result of a colony geological team survey, if i'm not mistaken, that's not exactly what i meant, but thank you anyway.

Erik Luken, thank you, that's the info i was looking for  :D

In the system map window, there's a tab called Minerals. Check the Surveyed Bodies box.

In addition to the posted replies, another option is to go to the Minerals tab on the system map and click "Show Surveyed Bodies"
