Tips for orbital fighter bases
« on: September 11, 2012, 04:41:11 PM »
I'm at the point where I'm building my first defenses, so I decide to go for AMM fighters escorting a short squadron of 5 ASM FACs based out of orbital platforms, but I'm having trouble managing them. For instance, when I went for tast force training, the platforms left earth behind, and now I can't get them back into orbit! Any tips tricks and other things I need to know when dealing with orbital platforms?

Use tugs. Once you think they trained enough - just tow them back to Earth (or whatever you call your planet).

My training bases are typically just 1 engine carriers, and I leave the planetary defense hangars in PDCS.
