synchronous fire

Combat Overview: Right now I click on every single fire control and then on the "Synchronous Fire" tick-box, and none of the "order all" buttons seem to do the trick.

Is there a simpler way to order all fire controls in a fleet to use synchronous fire?

There is a sync fire button at the top. Click on that then click on a different ship in the task group you have selected. It should have changed the tick in the box to on iff not already selected or off if it was. If you then select the ship you originally had selected it should refresh the page and show the tick in the box. All ships in that TG sould then have sync fire on / off. My recollection is that it's not apparent that it has worked until you change ship to force the screen to refresh.

Great, thanks, I somehow didn't see that button before you mentioned it. Also thanks for warning me of the way it actually works. But now I got my brains around it .
