Let's Play Aurora- Big warring empires!
« on: November 07, 2012, 07:54:49 PM »
I'm running something of an Aurora Let's Play based on the concept of starting out with tons and tons of technology. It will feature two opposing player-controlled teams, complete with "councilors" getting characters named after them.

So, hop in here:

I get the impression that running Aurora with multiple players is a logistic nightmare.

His scenario isn't so much about other players playing the game directly it looks but a bit more of a council type deal where players have input on decisions and he makes the actual changes in game and processes the turns. There is a similar game that was running on the Something Awful forums.

Multi-player Aurora is pretty fun from my experience. The way we last played was where people take turns making their decisions then the GM / DM actually processes the turns and provides back a report of the actions that happened.
You can see an example in the Children of Sol campaign in the fiction section
