Somethin's a little off.

This isn't exactly a major problem, and I'll assume it's related to the settings file being nuked, but I noticed that I can't hand out thanks for posts anymore. However will I express gratitude to Erik for his prompt action in getting the forum running?  ???

What theme are you using? I uninstalled and reinstalled the mod, and 2 of the themes failed. Babylon and not-Core.

I also lost the thanks option a while back but didn't say anything because I though you had just gotten rid of it for whatever reason.

FYI I was set to "default" but apparently I was still on the old former core.   I changed my theme to one of the other ones, and then back to default and got the new theme.

It's. . . different, but now I have the "say thanks" option back.

I'm on core and default, and it's all working fine now, I don't know. Hey the medals are back, I didn't even notice their absence. Nifty.

Either Steve hasn't posted any C# screenshots since last August or (I suspect) we lost some posts from that thread in the C# board.  The date on the last post seems to be back in August.

That could be true due to the diversion into ground combat. However, there are quite a lot of blank posts in the Changes list. That is a major issue as I think that was the only place they were written down. Would be extremely good if those could be recovered, if that is possible.

Also lost large chunks of my fiction, so probably other people have too.

EDIT: Managed to recover all the rules posts from Google caches so I will re-post the missing ones. Tried to recover the Colonial Wars fiction as well but some key sections still missing as no cache existed (well, as far as I can tell - very little experience in this area). Fortunately, I have NATO vs Soviet Union in Word so no harm done there. Others are well out of date anyway.

I did a manual copy/pasta from the database. It's not pretty by a long shot, but the stuff is there.

What's odd is that the data is in the database, it's just not being displayed.

Thanks - I have fixed up those two and replaced all the missing ones from the cache data.

Would be really great if you had the missing data from

http://aurora2.pentarch.org/index.php?topic=7869.0

and

http://aurora2.pentarch.org/index.php?topic=7889.0 (just page #1 - I recovered pages 2 through 6)

The first post I'm going to use as an example for SMF support, so it may take a bit. I'll fix the other now.

Thanks. I've fixed up the latter thread so the main Colonial Wars update thread is back to normal. The other one is the Starting Forces thread, which is missing 5 of the 14 starting nations. I couldn't find a cache for that one.

I was supplied a fix. It should have automatically fixed the threads we did not manually touch. Let me know if you find any that are still missing.
