I want to pay respects but I feel that "live long and prosper" would be incorrect for the occasion.
He will be missed for his contributions to fictional science, geekism, and writing biographies with conflicting titles.

He has been beamed to the Genesis planet.

When I was about 9 years old I was introduced to Star Trek TOS whilst at Primary School. That moment was what turned me into the geek that I am today, especially when I decided to tape my fingers together in order to do Spock's signature!

Now we just have to figure out who has his katra so when he is regenerated next year we can get them back together :)

I am a huge Star Trek fan so he will be sorely missed. Still remember persuading my wife to go to a Star Trek convention in London (no Leonard Nimoy unfortunately but did encounter many of the cast including William Shatner and Avery Brooks).

My wife was somewhat nervous however when I bought a full size Bat'leth and carried it through the streets of London. Of course, this being England, no one even batted an eyelid :)

I, somehow, was able to do that before I ever saw the show. It was weird when I eventually saw Spock do it on the show.

Rest long and in peace?

It's always the good people who die first.
