carriers in carriers

Can I fit a carrier, with drones docked inside it's hangars, into a larger carrier's hangars?

It's kind of insane, but I don't think there's anything stopping you. (Except that drones and carriers are unrelated; fighters and gunboats are manned.)

As long as the smaller ship will fit in the hanger bay of the larger ship you can cary it internally.  If there is anything docked in the smaller ship that is fine as everything is contained within the limits of the larger hanger bay anyway.

I'd be interested to see examples of these designs if anyone has created any

The Battleglobes could easily be used to carry carrier parasites. At 1.25 million tons, with 100k ton hangar, it'd be easy enough to design a carrier to fit in the hangar.
