Setting Up Fire Controls

Do I really have to assign the fire controls to each weapon on my many ships manually? Is their no way to put a default setting for them in the design menu?

Also, how do I give my ships missiles from a planet? Telling them to resupply at the planet doesn't seem to work...

Once you assign fire controls on one ship you can copy to others on the F8 window.

Make sure your ship class has a load out specified and there is a missile stockpile on the planet.
