Identifying enemy weapon strength.
« on: June 24, 2013, 06:06:08 PM »
I managed to find a ship out in the middle of a system right next to sol that has some incredibly awesome planets in it.  Unfortunately, I ran into an enemy ship that I am not sure exactly how strong it is.  It was only one and it ripped apart the ship I sent in.

The weapon?
10x railgun: damage 7, rate of fire 4, range mod 6, range 60k.

If you go through the new/reports, you will see how much damage it did when it hit your ship.

It was a single precursor ship that had infinitely too powerful weapons to fight against and went through a JP I set on their side thinking everything would be fine.

Well you could try a missile saturation with the spoiler ship. Try small and nimble missiles.
