On the game setup:
There are two factions on earth, the UNSRECA representing the space program, and the UN, representing all resources under national control. The UNSRECA only enough population to work its industry, funding comes from the UN. The UN has 7 billion inhabitants instead, and will be split into the required nations should any internal warfare occur.
The ruins on the moon have been placed by me. I had found one part of absorption shields, but my database vanished in a black hole afterwards, and the last backup was multiple years before.
