I remember the one time I went to Jamaica. It was so early in the morning (6AM flight), but the drive itself was just fine. However, every airline had a flight outgoing at the same time so getting through security was a B. People didn't prepare their bags so they had to run their bags though multiple times, people from later flights not letting people whose flights are just about to leave ahead of them (airlines not calling for flights either, etc etc (just about anything short of a threat happened). My flight left 16 people (including me and my family) at the gate, but the funny thing is, they did leave a little early. I am glad we did carry-on for all of our bags. We missed the only connecting flight of the day out to Jamaica from Atlanta however, so we had to extend our trip another day.
