Fighter Active Sensors
« on: June 08, 2012, 06:19:18 PM »
I designed a fighter with some active sensors, but it doesn't even have the activate sensors button when I select a fighter in the Battle Control Window. Any ideas?

Make sure the active sensor hasn't been damaged.

The fighters are all brand spankin new... I'm figuring the problem has to do with the fact that I forgot to add active sensors to them to begin with and went to SM mode to add them. 1st fighter design and all

Go to the ship list screen and ensure that you can see the fighters, they will be at the bottom of the list. Then click on the top one and just down-arrow through all the fighters.

By cycling through the ship list, all ships (fighters) will be updated to the new design.

Obviously, you should be locking a ship design and not editing a finished design which has assigned shipyards and/or completed ships - bad things may happen down the line.

Yeah... I know... But 1st fighter design and had a small oversight for interdiction fights outside the fleet's envelope... In combat range of the enemy is not a good time to figure that out... I will give your suggestion a try. Thanks
