Title: HPM turret?

I am trying to make a turret using a microwave beam but for some reason cannot do so. The wiki (unless I am suffering eyesight issues) says nothing about microwaves not being able to be mounted in a turret. When I go to the turret design screen I get my laser and meson designs as options but never the microwave. I have tried making a few different microwave beams just incase there was a specific set of size etc required but never do they show up. Are microwaves banned from being turret mounted?

Only gauss, lasers, and mesons can be turreted.
