Title: Families/multiple chars

I'd like feedback on this.  Proposed is the idea to allow a family member to be added, say, after 20 years of service.  This would add to the number of characters I need to track, but with the current number of people involved that's not a ton of work more than what's there right now.  Setting up a family tree is a bit iffy when the children are 40 or more years younger than a char by the time they retire.

What do you all think?  Good idea, bad idea?

I don't see how it could hurt, as long as it doesn't become a hassle. The moment it does, I would say drop it.

It could also be interesting to have families with their own prestige as a form of competition, not that it would have a huge effect on gameplay.

Richard Blade isn't old enough to have a son in the service yet, but I'll add when we get there.  Also, it would be preferable to use the signup thread for these, so that everything is in one location.  Thanks.

I should have mentioned that I think 40 yrs is a reasonable time to have a child in the service(meaning they would have been born when the parent was 19).  That will be another 17 years for Blade, Richard is now 23, putting the year of eligibility at around 2088.

Families are an nice incentive for RP hmmm i might consider getting another Fox in ....
