So, I wanted to ask, is there a size limit to what can be docked in a Hangar?

As long as the hanger is large enough you can put anything you want in it.  I actually have a huge design that is not much more than hanger bays, damage control and maintenance.  It does a great job of fixing damaged ships up to my cruiser class ships.  It does not help with armour repair, but everything else is fixed really quickly.

Well, it would allow me to reload the Box Launchers of my Cruisers far faster than the Maintenance Modules in place.
