It was only this forum on my domain. Unsure about anything else. Their logs didn't show any activity as to the file being removed/renamed.

So either it was an internal job (someone deleted something by accident and didn't fess up), or an external job that was covered very well.

Last night persons unknown renamed a file on the domain, which in effect removed access to the forums.

Once I find out who, I will recommend the host persue legal action.
