is there such a thing as hidden points to search

Be warned - this is heading into spoiler territory.

If it's a regular NPR, they might be coming into Sol through a jump point that you don't know about. If your initial scan didn't reveal it, it means that you'll need to catch them passing through the point for it to show up. Put down a whole bunch of planetary sensor arrays on the closest body to where you first saw them.

If it's the Raiders then they're using interdimensional rifts, which can't (to my knowledge) be detected. They're a nuisance - make sure you have STOs or escorts in range of anything you don't want blown up.

You can re-survey the locations in that general area to reveal a previously unknown jump point, or even re-survey the whole system as Steve added the capability to clear survey status (but keep knowledge of existing JPs) in 2.0 or 2.2 I think.

I’m recently been attacked by small groups of aliens coming from somewhere within Sol - having found all the jump points in Sol and surveying the system to 100% is there such a thing as hidden points to search

Has the game designated them Sol aliens because they live in Sol?
