Ran into my first NPR and ran into a problem with final def not triggering. Or am I missing something. . .
My BFC 320k 25kts set to final defensive fire on a quad 10cm turret rof 5 25k ts. Got actives running, I could see the missiles, 71/salvo moving at 68k something(Oops, poked my head towards a npr planet). Got the powerplant for powering. All set like in vb aurora, they should as best I can tell fire, maybe not very successfully in this case but they should fire.
Turret is linked to the BFC, the BFC is set to Final defensive and no lasers firing. No message that they are firing or anything. As I've understood it BFC should fire even without being told to open fire, unless set to Area defense mode. If I switch the bfc to active fire it will tell me weapons not ready(No jump shock, iam days spent in system), but that is behaviour also from not having a target set?
Is it a question of the missiles being to fast, because they will cover > my 320k range in 5s? *scratches head*
