  In the morning I will PM each of the teams screenshots from their empires.

By the 4/13 (1 week from today or 6 days from today, depending on timezone) I would like if the teams have figured out their own organization, figured out background material, decided on any special rules such as Espionage.

And which point the game will start on 4/13.   We will aim for at least 1 time a week on Wednesday/Thursday for me to run a turn. 

That means I am hoping and asking all the teams to submit the research orders. manufacturing orders, training orders, and so on by 4/20.   If the teams give staggered orders (Such as research X, then research Y) the turn will last longer.

In addition, I may stop it if something important happens (Like a launching of a ship, or if a team says for example "Stop the game when the ship reaches Io, and then broadcast this message" for RP reasons.

Both teams have submitted.  I will run later today.  Thank you once again for being so prompt.

In addition, It is nice to see that the orders are showing a lot of thought.   Even if the turn has a interrupt both teams have good standing orders so I suspect that we can if the players wish turn a additional turn quickly.

I know that the easiest ways for a game like this to die is not having prompt service by the admin.

I try to check every 24 hours and let everyone know when I will be away from the computer.

That said - Visiting family Saturday the 7th.  So I will not be around except perhaps in the early morning.

Looks like I will be able to run a turn early - Looks like after 12:00 noon I will be able to run the turn.

Turn 7(a) is in. - with a launch of the first Hathor Mk-1.

Two notes:
I am not going to do a full data dump at the moment - Russia asked for a 24 hour hold to make sure it wasn't something worth stopping over full time.  So I will dump the log and the Data on the rocket.   If russia says continue or nothing for 24 hours, I will continue to a full stop.  If russia asks for a full stop on seeing the data or log, I will do a full data dump.
I also made a save before launching, just in case I screwed up on setting the waypoint for the launch.

Wednesday at 5pm is end of turn.

I am willing to go 5 seconds run so that everyone can see the speed of my de Beer class probes so we do not stop after just a few seconds.

Can we make an agreement in some case? Like, we announce the launch (including detectable characteristics if new class) in advance, so we don't have to stop? Make it some kind of more regular deal.

I will also annouce the FSA will be launching a cargo vessel around Feb 1, and from what I understand, if a civvy class is launched pre-announced teams are okay with the turn proceeding.

Things to note

Tech trading
- The FSA will no longer be tech trading barring "Emergency/roleplay" and that will be rare.  I will only trade if the NAU-RUS trade, and then it will be a equal points.
- The FSA has traded in the past with both the NAU and RUS.   It would be unfair to not trade a equal amount before shutting the door.   The FSA-RUS still can do 1,000 RP of trading. 
At the start of the next turn everyone gets five more Research labs to increase the speed of research since trading will now be rare. 


European Union
- I set up the EU set up.
-They have 500 million population, shipyards, 20 missile bases, and will have 5 less research labs then everyone.   They start only with the tech that the "Hand me down" from other nations.   Thus they are well behind everyone.
- you can donate ships and Research to the EU for bonus for the Emigration out of the EU.
- EU at the end of the year will get 22 million when Turkey joins it.
- The EU will be behind everyone most likely but there activity will depend on the politics, which will be totally random. 

COMBAT!!!   

- There may be battles in the future, as warned, I am setting something up that might give a little more excitement to this game.
- to speed up battles, I do ask that the combat orders give the admin the idea of tactics, and then I will run the combat
- If something unexpected happens, or a key system is damage/knocked out (Engine, FC, Weapon, Sensor) I will be referring to the team
- if combat does happen I will expect that the teams give me quick turn arounds on the actual combat tactics. 
- if other teams can see the impacts/battles, they will be notified.  If it in the Sol system, it will be "Public" such as "There is a battle near Neptune, civilian sensors are indicating impacts...
- Combat will be handled by sub turns.   I will expect 24 hour turn around for tactics.

Still know the turn is due.

I work in Charlotte NC.  As you may know, there been looting issues last few days.  I am having extra long days due to this.  So hopefully I can get to the computer with the database before it really late.

Turn complete, though I will update everyone tomorrow.  As I got called into work yet again.

However, I did get the game to go to all the way to the end of the year (December 27th) so we will have a end of year turn for turn 24...

Sorry I been away for so long.

Due to some health and work related issues, I am not sure I have the ability to run this game anymore.

Sorry to hear about that, always ups and downs in life.  Just to let you know I had a lot of fun with this game while it lasted so I'm happy we did it.

When we officially decide to end it I will try to do some kind of summary, at least from the russian side.

Don't sweat it Drgong, you did a great job running the game. It was indeed a lot of fun even considering we barely even got around to leaving Sol, so maybe later on we could work out a sequel of some kind once people start getting more time.

Okay guys - I been able to solve the issues at hand both heath and work.

I know we been out of commission for too long.  I know Russia might still want to play, but is anyone in the NAU still willing to play. 

If not, I think it might be good to do a summary, and then thing long term (in a few months) for another game, I learned a lot on how to run it as well.
