On my computer (XP, not using portable release) Aurora sneakily and automatically exports black-box logs named "Y1,txt" "Y2,txt" etc to C://Logs/

Its usually best to ignore these since they contain full event log detail on every faction: player, NPR, and spoiler.  However, in last resort cases such as your own they may be worth reviewing if you haven't already.
That's where I've been checking for what's happenning

I checked the exported logs as well, no NPRs are battling in out.
The time advancements just been changed.

Update
I deleted my old world, re-unziped and genned a new world.  Its been about 5 and a half years ingame and it happened again.
I checked every log and there isn't a whisper from any NPRs if they spawned.  Time advances remain the exact same each time with 30d being 6h and different changes for the other buttons aswell

it sure looks like NPRs fighting

export your log to text file while in SM mode, and examine that file for NPR events that are normally opaque to the SM

Repeated question.  Does it advance multiple times at odd intervals or is the amount of time it advances with auto turns checked consistent?
It advances once per button click at the same, albeit wrong interval, each time I press it.  Auto turns changes nothing.

What happens if you check auto turns and then hit 5 days?

Try turning on SM mode and re-opening the events window to see if there are any messages

The time advances remained the same each time even with mixing up the order of buttons pressed 10+ times in multiple combinations.

And the fuel low/empty didn't interrupt

Doesn't the insufficient fuel event (shown on the map window) interrupt?

I am completely positive.
I've opened events up as SpaceMaster, started with 0% gen chances and the results are consistent with what I've said over multiple tries.

Not all NPRs show in SM mode. If you have the spoilers on, they can generate NPRs.

Are you positive it is not NPRs?

And bugs should be put in the appropriate version thread.

To expand on this:  You're not allowed to open new threads in the bugs section because Steve uses the official bugs thread as his bug database.  Just in case that's why you posted in this section :)

John

PS - I'm moving this thread to The Academy, since we try to keep the thread count in Mechanics down....

This is not due to NPRs fighting or some kind of lag induced slowdown.
The buttons no longer change the time by the correct amount
Here is what I mean.
                    (imgur.  com/dpo2R8y)
Ignore the space here^
The buttons were pressed starting at 5s to 30d.
I tried to post this in bugs but I couldn't create a new topic.
Is this some strange option or is my game done for?

Unless this is some weird bug there is something blocking them from doing the right amounts of time. Is this always hapenning? Try clicking 5 days a couple of time and see what is going on.
