If I disassemble a peddle reactor on Mars and get 30 RP, will thouse RP only "stay" on Mars? It dont show up on Earth research.

I think that the RP stay where they are disassembled, but maybe salvage ships can download data and move it around as they can with wrecks.

Research points stay where they were downloaded from a ship or components were dissasembled, they cannon be moved once applied.

On the individual ship screen, History/Notes/Tech Data tab, there is a checkbox "Do not releas tech data".
With that checkbox you can avoid downloading the tech data gained from salvaging in a system where you don´t want it (if not checked, I think it will download to the first planet of yours with at least 1 reseach lab it comes across)
