Help interpreting species data?
« on: October 19, 2020, 10:24:43 AM »
I just conquered an NPR homeworld and they have an atmosphere listed as dangerous to themselves, so their population is tiny. "Population Species" under the
Environment tab says:
Breathe Gas: Oxygen
Breathe (Atm): 0 to 0

And there is no oxygen in their atmosphere (nitrogen/ammonia/methane).  How should I terraform this planet so they can breathe?

I might be wrong here, not actually looked at a different species evironment stats before, but... 0 to 0 breathable atmosphere sounds wrong, I think that might be the problem. It sounds like they need oxygen to breathe but they can't breathe more than 0 atm of it. The game probably gave them a planet with 0 atm as demanded, but you can't breathe nothing. Sounds like a bug if they were generated by the game parameters and not you, you might want to report it on the bugs thread.

To make their planet habitable you'll want to edit the race so their breathable atmosphere is a level above 0 and then add some oxygen to the planet.
Currently using Aurora 1.12 - Unmodded

Definitely, a bug unless you created them on that rock.
