Introducing distant aliens
« on: August 01, 2012, 03:49:53 AM »
Is there any way to make two alien races who haven't yet met aware of each other? The idea is that two of the races have been introduced to each other by a third party. However, I have no idea how to do this.

I always just pretend it happens.

I don't think there's a way to do it. Aurora's diplomacy system is pretty sparse, you have to make it up yourself.
My Theodidactus, now I see that you are excessively simple of mind and more gullible than most. The Crystal Sphere you seek cannot be found in nature, look about you...wander the whole cosmos, and you will find nothing but the clear sweet breezes of the great ethereal ocean enclosed not by any bound

You might be able to get by with SM creating a race that is connected to both, and give info. Then delete the SM race.
