PLEASE: Support the content creators - remember to click like on each video and you should really consider subscribing to each channel. Also, it is worth posting on each videos comments section. Doing these things will help promote the game on YouTube and encourages the creators to keep on creating.
Attached is the spreadsheet listing all known (to me) YouTube videos for Aurora C# with relevant information and links.
I intend to keep this updated on a regular basis.

Hey I am the creator of the videos on "Defran Strategy" Just letting you know theres a lot more video then that, about twenty one currently out all tutorials or extended tutorial series, also the entire compilation is in C# Tutorials.

This morning's update adds the new version of Aurora 4X (1. 9. 0) and four new videos. These are two more in the series of tutorials by Defran Strategy, the next in darkprometheus112's playthrough and the lkatest stream by Saquenay. This brings the number of videos available to 111.

it says there are six videos in my conventional start series, I think it go confused cause around a day back youtube was on the fritz and having issues processing, so I have removed those vods so feel free to update it accordingly, there are only 5 videos in that series

Good morning all,
Today's update includes tow updates to the game from Steve and three new videos. The videos include a new tutorial from Defran Strategy, the next in darkprometheus112's playthrough and then we have a trailer for an upcoming, multiplayer series from The Domain.
The totals are now 114 videos with a total length of 71 hours and 10 minutes.

Good morning all,
Today's update includes a new version of the game from Steve, three new videos and two videos which had previously been missed. The new videos are two from Defran Strategy covering basic ship design, and the next stream from Saquenay. The old videos came from a review of sources where I found two videos by Defran Strategy not in any of his playlists.
Total videos is now 119, with a total running time of 74 hours, 56 minutes.

To those of you you who have thanked me for this list, I'm glad I could help. Good gaming!
A deeper search over the weekend turned up one Spanish and one Portugese review of the C# version as well as three, previously missed, demonstrations by Steve.
Otherwise, we have four new videos from Defran Strategy (including three in his interesting series on ship design), a new stream from Saquenay and three new creators starting series, 15minutegamer, Acularius and Craig H.
I have noticed that a couple of other creators have posted Aurora videos. These are Geugon with a long, German language, series; and SmartWargames with a review. However, these are for the VB version so are not included in this list.
There are now listed a total of 134 videos with a total running time of 84 hours and 31 minutes.

Good Morning all,
Yesterday was a busy day in the world of Aurora 4X C# Youtube !
Defran Startegy posted two videos, as usual, one was a tutorial but the second was the start of a playthrough where he shows his tutorials in action. Saquenay finished his 1.8.0 streams and began a 1.9.4 stream and posted the first two parts. Gerugon finished his VB Let's Play series (in German) and posted the first two videos of a C# let's play series. And finally, PhaestusFox Plays had a live stream for nearly seven hours which, when it ended, became a video of less than two minutes!
We now have a total of 141 videos with a total running time of 91 hours and 13 minutes.

I have also been checking out Aurora videos on Twitch. Twitch videos tend to be long streams and are deleted after a set period (usually two weeks, I belive). This makes it a bit pointless to record all the videos as they quickly become unavailable. I have added a tab to the spreadsheet with links to the channels of creators who create Aurora videos, which should give the viewer a startin point.

Gerugon has re-numbered the parts he posted on Friday and added a part he miised, Friday's parts are now 31, 33 and 34 while the new part is part 32. We also now have the introduction to a multiplayer (eight players!) playthrough by Zhatelier.

Defran Strategy posted two new videos, one was an updated tutorial & an announcement, and he also posted the next part in his playthrough series (part 14). We also have a new part of the tutorial series by Craig H (part 3). Gerugon has posted the next three parts of his playthrough series (parts 35 to 37). We also now have the first part of a multiplayer playthrough by Zhatelier, consisting of Great Britain's first year.

NOTES
As requested, I have added a column to the creator tab showing the date of the latest posting so those who check the sheet irregularly can tell if there are any updates they may have missed.
Because YouTube has issues with long playlists, I have added a column on the main tab to show which (current) playlist the video is part of. I prefer, normally, to give the links to the playlist version of each video as it allows the viewer to see and more easily watch other parts of a series.
Also, as regards The Domain's videos, the links in the sheet do still work even though the videos and playlist no longer show on The Domain's channel.

An interesting one, this time.

Defran Strategy has posted a new part to his 'Starting Steps Remastered' series (part 3). Saquenay has posted the next part of his playthrough (part 13). Zhatelier has now posted the next two parts of his 'Age of Sail' playthrough (covering 1702 for the Mughal Empire and the Pirates in some detail).
We have a new creator, Director-General Jeremiah Biggs, who has posted a short video 'advertising' Aurora 4X C#, I think.
We also have the first in a brand new tutorial series by long-time creator, Ser Beardian.
There was also the rather intriguing tale of the Portugese-language video by Travolt Ainda Joga. He posted a live streaming video on the evening of the 12th and then, afterwards posted the full stream as a single video. I took down the details and added it to the list. The next day, while searching for new videos I notyiced that his video did not show. when I clicked on the link I had saved it came up as a private video. Since the list is intended, primarily to help people find what is available on YouTube and how much time they would need to invest in a series or to find a tutorial on a specific subject, I have decided not to include private videos in the list totals. I have put the video details at the bottom of the tab so people are aware it exists (purely for completism. Surely aurora players can forgive a bit of OCD.

My big concern is that, assuming all trains run on time and have seats, i will be travelling for over 7 hours. In the UK masks are compulsory on public transport and are now compulsory on train stations too so the only chance I have to eat is during a 40 minute stopover in Shrewsbury - which is actually a nice place to spend half an hour.

Good evening all,
I have been asked to make a change to this service because 1.12 is such a major update that it almost qualifies as a version 2 and renders much of what has been posted before as out-of-date. I have given this matter some thought.
The spreadsheet has always contained a column to detail the version that the video is about. The main problem with this is that Youtube creators often do not say which version is being used (one of the reasons I list the release dates of A4XC# versions in a separate tab). However, I do see the need for a single place for newbies and the curious to find relevant, up-to-date videos on Youtube (whether tutorials or examples of actual play - the playthroughs we all love to watch). However, I do want to have a place where players can see the entire bodies of work of all the creators I catalogue.
So I have decided that I will keep the spreadsheet as it is and update it regularly as I have these past months. However, I will also attach a second spreadsheet with just the 1.12 version videos where the creators have identified it as such. Because of this;
Can I ask all video creators reading this to include the version number with their videos? You can put ot in the title or make it part of the notes under the video or even post a comment with the version number.
I welcome your thoughts on this.

Zhatelier has posted the next two parts of his 'Red Galaxy' playthrough (parts 5 & 6) - it looks like he still has two more videos to post in this series and then we might see him switch to the new version.
Just a small clarification, there are 2 currently scheduled videos, but there will be 6 more after those (So ep 15 should be the first one on 1.12). As per usual, as soon as I get 2 recording sessions done Steve releases a new version (iirc happened with the Age of Sail series as well) ;)

But first and foremost thank you for your work with categorizing and archiving all C# Aurora content. Secondly sorry for confusion due to non-standarized naming convention. You already have my creator-name in The List (TransdimensionalOne) from previous attempt on 1.00&1.30 Aurora. This account name (Anamori) predate any attempts to stream/record and my lazy ass just use it due to "convenience".

Not sure if separated or unrelated actualy, I did posted short notification about Quazar4x going into "playable/testing" stage for my viewers recentry (As TransdimensionalOne and narrated in Polish). It is not realy worth sharing that video there tho. Maybe it is about another video, please ignore me in that case. Quazar4x is great project and Kyle hard work there is very evident, so in future every worthy coverage of His work should be promoted for sure.

Giving a small heads-up, having a new Let's Play starting today (and the first episode should be out already)! The Red Galaxy playthrough met an untimely end due to some spoilers, so I wasted no time starting up a next one. This one is called The Last Kingdom (last because I expect we'll die sooner or later) and is somewhere between the Red Galaxy and Age of Sail in certain aspects. There will be multiple players involved, while I'll do the actual playing, but each player is leading a faction within the Kingdom. This involves various houses as well as guilds and a religious organization. Each of the factions has their own agenda that they'll try to further while we together try to survive against the terrors that lie in the galaxy. Some of these players may or may not be fairly familiar names for most or at least some ;)
This time there won't be any faction-specific episodes though, to lessen the editing burden that was one of the major reasons why I had to axe the AoS LP. There is a fair bit of lore involved, which mostly took shape in the past 2 weeks or so, but more of that on the actual videos. Defran Strategy has posted the nect part of his 'Uncut' playthrough (part 29).

Good afternoon all,
I'm back! After burning out and having a close relative passing during the pandemic, I have now taken early retirement, taken a few months to destress and I'm ready to get back into it.
So what did I miss?
The spread of Aurora 4X to other countries has led to an increase in videos being created in non-English languages such as Portugese and Russian such that Aurora videos are now available in seven different languages.
The release of 2.0 seems to re-invigorated the 'Let's Play' community and even now we have continuing series from;

The Aurora 4X video community is stronger now than 18 months ago.
I have attached two files to the first post; one is of all Aurora 4X C# videos. The second is of videos covering versions 2.0.0 to 2.1.1.
I have considered the changes coming for version 2.2 and it looks like many older videos will no longer be relevant for players of v2.2 so, when it is released, i will start a new spreadsheet of 2.2 videos only. I will produce three spreadsheets for about a month before stopping the v2.0 to v2.2.2 spreadsheet and folding that back into the overall spreadsheet.
The V2 spreadsheet lists 200 videos with a total running time of 6 days, 23 hours, and 10 minutes.
The whole spreadsheet now lists a whopping 1565 videos with a total running time of 50 days, 15 hours, and 18 minutes.
I am slowly checking all the videos on that list as I know some have been renamed (or even deleted) and playlists have changed. If you find a link that doesn't work please let me know.
For content creators, the Aurora Videos (C#) forum exists to promote your content and you should definitely use it to advertise your work.

I have started checking the database is still accurate with YouTube but, since its such a big job, I will concentrate on those videos based on v2.0 and up first. The only creator still making videos based on 1.13.0 is Kevin Walsh who is up to part 164 of his very long running series, but he has an irregular posting schedule and it can be difficult to tell if the series has ended.

There has been little activity, probably due to the season and the changes in the new versions. I am considering, for the 2.2+ sheet, adding a column to indicate the type of video (tutorial, playthrough, one-off, discussion, etc.). I would hope this could help newbies to find videos relevant to them. Please, let me know what you think.
