Ender's Game
« on: March 06, 2013, 03:58:10 AM »
Has anyone tried SM'ing a scenario of Ender's Game? As in the Buggers control dozens of worlds and have massive fleets, and Humanity just has a few super-powerful ships (and a super-genius Military boy lol) and your job is complete Xenocide, utter obliteration of the buggers? Would it be possible? Has anyone tried it?

EDIT:
Ender's Game is by Orson Scott Card, and if you haven't read it I strongly recommend you do. It's amazing

Steve built this into the game already. Plasma Torpedoes make a pretty good Dr. Device. YOU are the Buggers!

The Ender's Game series seems to indicate space travel is through realspace, not warp or jump drive.  In order to move around the universe the ships accelerate to near light speed, which is how Razer Mackham is still around in Ender's time.

Details, details XD
That is an issue. Maybe confine yourself to Jump Drives and Conventional Engines?
