Cyberhack

Game I've been toying with since... 2002 maybe.

Rewriting it in XNA/VB2010. Here are a couple of screenshots of the main game window.

The area in the lower left will be the main game screen. That's where the action will occur. The side console on the right is user info. The bar near the top will be for health status. Probably going to think of something to put in all the open area on top also. I am also planning on making the game window borderless to give it a sleeker look.

This image shows the debug screen active. XNA is limited to 60fps. I overrode that and the fps shot up to over 2k. I expect that to drop as I start to include more stuff.

It's currently in 1024x768 res, and I plan on incorporating other resolutions once I figure out how to do so in XNA.

Interesting. The options in the main menu reminds me of Decker, which is mostly a simulation of the cyber part of Shadowrun. Is that going to be the general idea?

That's what caused the inspiration, yes.
