Missile design and research

Hi,
I may be missing something incredibly obvious, but after I design my missiles in the Missile design window they don't seem to show up as research options.
Do I need to wait for a five-day increment or is there something else going on?
When I hit create no obvious errors came up.

No, normally, after you've set a name and saved them, you should be able to find them in the missile research department, whatever that is named again.
I can't remember ever having that problem.
They simply don't appear?

Did you try using SM functions (giving all racial tech) to see if the designs are actually there, or if they really don't exist?

Ahh.  My problem was that I wasn't entering my own name for the missiles, which
is perhaps a good idea now that I think about it.  Once I did that the design showed up just fine.

Hi,
I stand corrected.  The problem wasn't that the designs weren't appearing, it was that I was failing to notice the scroll bar which conveniently appeared when the list of research options got large.  Bah.

It's in the Academy, this is the place for that kinda question.
You just happen to have other problems than most, it's always good to let people know.
