The complex activity column is for things like building new slipways, retooling, and shipyard expansion.  Actual shipbuilding tasks are in the Shipyard Tasks tab on top. 

Your ships are probably building right now, you're just looking in the wrong place.  ;3

Image link added.  For example, Shipyard #11 has the Pathfinder class assigned and 3 orders have been assigned to all 3 slipways.  However, the ship construction jobs themselves do not appear in the construction queue.

Well I'm back to the game after a hiatus and I've immediately hit a problem.

I have shipyards tooled to build eligible designs.  However, when I add construction tasks to those shipyards for the ships in question, the "Current Complex Activity" field in the Shipards tab remains blank and "Completion Date" field remains as N/A.  However, each time I add a new task it is clearly using up slips in each shipyard. 

Help please!
