Hi,

So, I've started a new game, selected "Create SM Empire", edited the SM empire to be the way I want it, and then gone into the system view screen to generate a system I like the look of (basically the fist one with 1 0.0 cost planet).

Now, how do I start my empire off on that planet, with all the industry etc it would have had if I'd just elected to go for a Sol start?

Also, since I've had to generate and delete a fair number of systems, before getting the one I wanted, will this cause problems later on? Holes in the galaxy map? Any kind of weirdness at all?

In the system summary (F7?) window there is a "Create Empire" button when you're in SM mode. If you want it to be as close as possible to a default start then just start with 500M population.

Ah, I saw the create empire button, but as I'd already modified the SM race, I thought that would just add some other random empire. I'll try that, ta.
