I made them in 2061 so these are pretty early tech models.  I have a big PDC too to store them.  I am not satisfied with the Jäger PD capabilities and my missiles are a bit slow.

So what do you think? How can I improve them?

Sorry for bad/simple english My english is a bit rusty.

Maintenance lives seem excessive for most use and insufficient if you want your designs to not need maintenance ever.

You don't need electronic hardening on your sensors.

You probably don't want Gauss turrets on fast ships. A 10cm railgun tracking at 9600km/s is much better than a 3-shot, half-accuracy Gauss cannon tracking at 16000km/s.

How do mesons fit into your weapon lineup? Those generally don't combine well with other weapons and I see nothing specific that makes them attractive.

For missiles it'd be good to have your MSP allocations.

Your missiles are different sizes, this could cause logistics problems.
The passive sensors are probably not needed.  Either the DSTS of the planet you are defending or the fleet sensors any carrier group should be carrying should be sufficient.
You don't need a hangar for FACs stationed around a planet, only fighters.
Your engines appear to be using thermal reduction.  Useful for scouting potentially hostile systems with passive sensors, not so much for defending populated systems using active sensors.
You should match the ECM on your frigates.
Your missile salvo size is large.
Your warhead size is not optimised.
Agility may increase your chance to hit but speed is more important to avoid point defence.
The maintenance supplies on your FACs are lower than their maximum repair cost.
Nothing can be done about tracking speed at your current tech level, missiles are simply OP.
I'm not sure why you have mesons on your frigate rather than gauss cannons.

I split up the sensors on my scout fighters.  The goal is to have the sensor/footprint ratio as much in your favor as possible.  You want to be able to detect the enemy outside the range they can detect your scout.  Failing that, you want to be able to detect them outside of the range that they can have missile fire control on your scout.

As to whether you have sensors on them or rely on colony sensors, I try to put a sensor buoy on every jump point, so that I have some warning about someone else walking around in my space.  My colony defense philosophy is to try to contain damage with point defense, and to provide information to my empire on the nature and number of the attackers.
