Engine Design

When I try to create a new engine design there is no longer a dropdown for selecting military or commercial. Is this a glitch or is it on purpose?

Whether an engine is military or commercial now is based on what design specs you choose for it.   an engine has to be >=25 HS and have a power output of <=50% to be classed as commercial, otherwise it's military.
