Okay... According to the SMF forums, you should be able to put in Cyrillic (and other non-Latin) characters as long as you are using a UTF-8 codeset.  I don't have any Cyrillic support on my computer, so maybe one of you Russians could try it and see what happens?

This has me boggled. I can preview (and it shows up in Cyrillic), but after posting it is all ??. The database is UTF-8, so that should work.

Erik I know that SMF does indeed support Cyrillic output.  I'm on an airsoft mil-sim forum where serveral people post with that character set.  To boot they are using v1.1.11 so your v1.1.16 should also.

Everything I've read says Cyrillic should work. But it doesn't.
