Title: Raiders in Sol

I thought I had read that raiders didn't target sol?
As soon as I hit the system limit they instantly attacked Sol - did I misread this or any ideas?

No, that sounds like it's working as advertised. They scout every system, as far as I know.

Yeah, there's nothing special in the game mechanics about Sol after it is generated, it works like any other system in the game. Although usually if the Raiders come through Sol they should expect to be rudely shown the door under heavy fire - if the player is pressing ahead with exploration without building a proper navy then that is their risk to run in any case.

Right thanks both, not sure where I got the idea they weren't meant to attack capital systems from - appreciate the correction.
