I downloaded the newest patch, but I got a 3201 error when I tried to run it.

The error numbers are from Microsoft. What was the whole message and what was the title of the pop up box?

Impeccible timing.  I came to work today, wondered why it was so empty and then realized it's a national holiday today.  Aurora time!

Only downside is I'm out of coffee.

Anyway, what were the significant bugs? ;)

Many thanks anyway!

Can't remember all of them :) but included fixes for underground infrastructure and combat drop modules. Also there was a bug where completing a research project by downloading tech would delete the receiving colony if the tech was in the research queue. Found that when Callisto disappeared :)

Also, you will have less failed recoveries in alien ruins. The chance of recovery is equal to the morale of the construction brigade * xenology bonus of commander. This used to be rolled on a D200. Now it is D150. Of course, the fact I was getting hardly any intact installations from the ruins on Sparta is just a coincidence.

There was a bug in the version I first uploaded so I fixed it this morning. If you had a problem relating to install directories, it should be fixed now.

Important! This patch can only be applied to v6.40 or later. If you try upgrading any other version you will end up with a lot of error 91s and have to Ctrl-Alt-Delete out.

This is NOT a database patch so if you upgrade you won't lose your saved game. Just unzip the Aurora.exe file into the installation directory, overwriting the file of the same name.

This is a bug-fix patch to correct the more significant bugs from v6.42.
