RE: Railguns on PDCs

I know that Lasers and Particle Beams don't work in an atmosphere with 1 atm or more, but Mesons do; however, do Railguns work on PDCs, as in, do they work in an atmosphere with more than or equal to 1 atm?

I want to create Fire Base PDCs, but am not sure if what I'm going for works with the mechanics of the game.

No, only mesons will work in those atmospheres.
And unlike railguns, you can put them on turret to get even better odds of interception.

Not without the skills to muck about in the compiled vb code.

Doesn't really work since Mesons go through shields and armour.

xenoscepter, you can make Railgun PDCs and use them on bodies without atmospheres. I know it's not perfect but it's something.
