Yeah, having your transponders on  basically makes the civilians shout "HERE I AM" to everyone in the system. Unless they're camping near the points, turning the civilian transponders off should stop the interrupts. Then you track them down and turn them into dust.

I figured out what was causing infinite interval interrupts in my game by exporting the SM text log and looking at the NPR alerts.  Apparently a pair of NPR scout ships in my systems are getting infinite Hostile Transit Warnings from civilian ship transponders.

Is there anything I can do about this?
