Introducing a new member
« on: April 25, 2020, 06:11:17 PM »
Good evening everyone,
I don't know where to post, so I put it in the
general discussion.
I allowed myself to open this post in order to introduce myself.
Being French I do not master the English language correctly
although I can read it a little, writing it is something else.
I know that some people do not like spelling mistakes or syntax errors (like with us elsewhere in France or my wife . . .   ::))
But I humbly ask you to be forgiving and tolerant, for in no way would I want to hurt, shock, or disrespect anyone due to poorly translated words or phrases.  I have been playing VB6 for 10 years and have been browsing this forum for

Almost as long.  Because the language barrier may be a big problem,
apart from perhaps the French kiss that is universal . . .   ;D

But more seriously …for the reasons I have just mentioned I did not dare to register.  But who tries nothing . . .
So I would make correction efforts so that the community can understand me and help me when necessary, and be able to converse in peace.
In order to be able to enrich myself with your knowledge, and you,
maybe mine.

Thank you.

Bienvenue mon ami!

C'est la vie as you guys say, loads of non-native speakers here and - as you probably know - the Italians have an entire sub-forum for them! So I doubt the language barrier will be too much of a problem.

Thank you for your Garfunkel welcome, and yes that's life  :).  I agree with you, language is not a problem.
When you are passionate about the same thing you can easily understand each other  ;).
