More scalability in galactic map
« on: November 04, 2012, 01:36:07 AM »
So when i start a 4500 solar system game and wish to put them all up on my galactic map i hit a limit at zoomed out 4.  Is there a way of scaling up the galactic map to account for all systems.

umm 4500 systems is a bit too much for even a super computer and the loading takes forever and that's why there is no need for the galactic map to be huge.  100 - 150 systems already makes the game take a few minutes to load, check and update all the planets and then the civs so again no need for so many systems.

turn off those extra races ie the precursors and starswarm, ive gotten up to 500 systems with multiple normal aliens and yeah its slow but im hitting the map scale limit, just a zoom out to 6- 8 factor rather than 4 it may not be possible still worth asking i guess.
