Multistage Missiles
« on: May 12, 2008, 10:20:29 PM »
I was wondering whether anyone here has any experience using multistaged missiles? I've experimented a couple of times with large base missiles carrying three or four smaller rockets, but every time they reach separation distance the smaller missiles disappear. At first it I thought it was a tracking problem, but then I tried tacking an active sensor onto the payload missiles, and still no joy. Would anyone mind advising me on what I'm doing wrong?

I'm not sure. I have used multi-stage missiles myself with no problem in the past but its possible I have introduced some new bug due to recent missile changes. Is anyone else using MSMs at the moment and if so, is it working OK or are you having similar problems? If no one has used them lately I will run up some designs and test them.
