Hiding a System from a player
« on: March 08, 2016, 03:00:41 PM »
Was trying to create a new system with an alien race in it. Have done it in the System Screen. But since I have no spacemaster race in that game I have created it with one of the selected fractions. Now this system is known to them which it should not be. Any way to hide it from them?

Can you go into the System view and select the empire in the dropdown at the top-left, then click Delete System?

Careful with that, though. I don't recall what the tooltip says, and I haven't used it.

It deletes the system from existence, death star style.

I could but I created the alien race in it and don't want to redo  them. So I'll Stick with it  :)

There is still another rank no one has yet reached. I think Steve is the closest. Followed by either myself or John. Not sure who is second. :)

The way to do it is with a new player race, make a new player race with zero population, industry, everything etc. Call them something like DM race or such. Then change to playing them and do all your NPR creation stuff there, when you switch back to your main playing race you will have no knowledge of the NPR system.
