Game pace
« on: September 27, 2013, 02:34:05 PM »
For a 1-2 years ( not sure ) I hit 1 day turs as max interwal
it may be connected with alien npr survey vessel having seen in "my space"
I did not shot this vessel as with nice 300 initial standing I hope for some cooperation and what more important I have not located their worlds so war seems to be not a valid option
it is year 2088
I have solid industrial base and start rapid expansion building tracking posts , internal space patrols with 10 kt guard ships and overall close to 700kt  tonnage for my navy
something like 25+ systems are fully charted about 7-8 are with my increasing activity
multiple star swarms and precursors patrols  were killed  but it is quiet now
the only problem is 1day turns which make game a bit boring in last few days playing...
any good ideas how to boost it ?
shoud I find this survey vessel and kill ?
or maybe there is another problem
I even put all my survey vessels on "one again scan" of systems in case invaders spawned but so far I had no contact with them ( I  decided to put this option on about 2060 )

If you know which system that ship or ships is in you could use SM and the disable the sensors in that system. You do that on the "System Map" screen, there is a tick box on the "Sensor" tab. This will disable sensor calculations in that system and might fix the problem. Just don't forget to turn this on when they are gone.

I may be wrong on location of this survey ship ... average interval dropped <1 day
with 2 most obvious system with sensors down ...
I have quite a few places with sensors atm ...
maybe I will try to rotate systems with sensors off
otherwise I have no idea

after experiments with SM sensor disabling I start thinking it is not "my space" problem
time intervals dropped to 2-18h within last few game time weeks
usually when there was AI fighting game dropped to 5sec for  some time and recover
my game is staedily slowing in long run
any ideas  ?
